2. Order Shipped to Customer Update<\/strong><\/p>\n

Trigger: Order fulfillment in Shopify (tracking number added).
\nActions: Send a personalised email to the customer with their tracking number and estimated delivery. Add a tag in Shopify marking the customer as “shipped notification sent.”<\/p>\n

    Where It Falls Short<\/h3>\n

    Zapier is not perfect. Multi-step automations (ones that check conditions before acting) require paid plans. If your workflow needs branching logic like “if the order is over $100, do this; otherwise, do that,” you need at least the Starter plan.<\/p>\n

    There is also a small delay. Zapier checks for new triggers every 1-15 minutes depending on your plan. For most order management tasks, that is fine. But it is not real-time enough for time-sensitive actions like flash sale inventory locks.<\/p>\n
