Here are 5 tab order tweaks that move the buying signals where customers actually look.<\/p>\n
Specifications tell the customer what the product is. Reviews tell the customer whether it actually works. Customers trust other customers more than they trust your spec sheet.<\/p>\n
Move the Reviews tab to position 2, right after Description. This means customers see the social proof before they start comparing technical details. If your reviews are strong, this tweak alone can lift conversion rates.<\/p>\n
If your reviews are thin (fewer than 10), keep Specifications first. Showing an empty reviews tab early kills trust. Wait until you have 15+ reviews before making this swap.<\/p>\n
Shipping information does not belong in a tab at all. It belongs above the fold, right below the price. Customers want to know when it arrives before they read a single word of description.<\/p>\n

Make it earn the click. A tab called Description gets skipped. A tab called Why This One gets opened.<\/p>\n Specifications matter, but they matter less than reviews and less than the description. Most customers do not read them at all. The ones who do are usually comparing your product to a competitor and want to check a single number, not read the whole list.<\/p>\n Move specifications out of the tab row and into an accordion section below the reviews tab. An accordion lets customers scan headers and expand only the spec they care about. For a candle brand: bedside table, bathroom shelf, dinner table centrepiece. For a tech accessory: desk setup, commute bag, travel case. Three to five short sections with a photo and one sentence each.<\/p>\n This tab does two things. It helps customers who are on the fence visualise the product in their own life.
