One Canvas. Every Format. No Context Switching.

Tencent just opened the international beta for Miora, an AI creative studio that handles image generation, video, UI/UX design, storyboarding, and 3D asset creation inside a single workspace. It launched May 28 and it is now available at miora.design with invite-code access.

The pitch is simple: stop bouncing between Midjourney for images, Runway for video, Figma for UI, and whatever else for 3D. Miora puts all of that on one shared canvas where your project context stays intact from start to finish.

What Miora Actually Does

Miora is not another single-purpose AI generator. It is a workspace with AI agents that understand creative context. Here is what you can do inside it right now:

  • Image generation from text prompts, with inpainting and background removal built in
  • Video creation with AI-assisted workflows, not just one-shot clips
  • UI/UX design and prototyping directly on the same canvas
  • 3D asset creation alongside your 2D work
  • Local editing so you can refine anything without exporting first

Everything happens on one canvas. Your image references carry over to video. Your UI layouts inform your 3D mockups. The AI agents remember your preferences across the project.

AI Agents, Not Just Prompts

This is where Miora diverges from the usual AI tool pattern. Instead of typing a prompt and hoping for the best, Miora uses AI agents that can:

  • Understand the design context of your project
  • Reason through creative problems
  • Call tools independently without you manually chaining every step
  • Remember what you like and apply it across formats

Tencent calls them a “crew of specialists” covering branding, illustration, storyboarding, video, UI/UX, and 3D. You can also build your own custom skills and share workflows with the community.

Why This Matters for Creative Workflows

The biggest pain point with AI creative tools right now is not quality. It is fragmentation. You generate an image in Midjourney, refine it in Photoshop, animate it in Runway, mock up the UI in Figma, and by the time you are done, you have lost context four times and exported assets in six different formats.

Miora targets that exact problem. If the shared canvas works as promised, your brand colours, character references, and layout constraints follow you from images to video to UI without manual re-entry.

For small creative teams and solo designers, this could genuinely reduce the number of subscriptions you need and the number of times you have to explain your project to a new tool.

What to Look Out For

Miora is in international beta right now, so a few things to keep in mind:

  • Quality vs convenience trade-off. Miora uses “multiple domestic and international visual models” under the hood. That means it is pulling from various AI models for different tasks. The output quality will depend on which model handles which task, and Tencent has not been fully transparent about which models power what.
  • Invite-code access only. You need an invite code to try it right now. Expect the usual beta quirks: limited capacity, occasional bugs, features that change without notice.
  • Tencent data handling. Tencent is a Chinese tech giant with a different regulatory environment. If you are working on client projects or sensitive brand work, understand where your data goes before uploading anything.
  • Ecosystem lock-in risk. The single-canvas pitch is compelling until you want to leave. Watch how easy it is to export your work in standard formats before you commit your workflow to Miora.

How to Try It

  1. Go to miora.design
  2. Request an invite code (Tencent is rolling these out gradually)
  3. Start a project on the shared canvas and test one format you already use elsewhere
  4. Compare the output quality against your current tool for that format
  5. Test whether context actually carries between image, video, and UI modes

The real test is not whether Miora can generate a pretty image. It is whether the shared canvas actually saves you more time than you lose to a new platform. Try it on a real project, not just a test prompt.
